Join Dan Schaar and Richard Antoine as they discuss their recent $2.1M+ verdict ($1.85M in Non-Economic Damages) in Sacramento County against Brinks, Inc. In 2015, Dan and Richard’s client was a passenger in a vehicle that was rear-ended while they were stopped at a stop light. The Plaintiff underwent years of conservative care before undergoing two separate cervical disc replacement surgeries, after which she made a good recovery. After her second surgery the Plaintiff was involved in a second rear-end crash in which she underwent conservative care, and the defense attempted to use this second crash to cut off the majority of Plaintiff’s future non-economic damages.
